How will I earn money?

Our special Guru area keeps track of all of your activity. You'll know exactly what you've done to date. At any given time, you'll have real time access to the Guru Account Balance owed to you.
Gurus earn 30% of all revenue generated on their site, generated from the following sources:
- Sponsors pay-per-click Text Link Promotions
- Sponsors pay-per-click Opt-In TipZine Promotions
- Sponsors pay-per-click Opt-In-Banner Ad Promotions
- Content Licensing Fees
- Book, Product and Magazine Commission Sales

How much can I earn?

Your earnings will depend greatly upon the traffic, topic popularity, market conditions, and your effort and time dedicated to your community.

When will I be paid?
|
All gurus are paid electronically using Pay Pal or other direct payment software on a monthly basis.

What does a Guru need to do to maintain status in our network?
|
1.) Offer quality tips and link descriptions
2.) Add new Quality content
3.) Host Community Chats
4.) Approve or reject user tip and link submissions
5.) Respond to your community in a timely manner (questions and feedback)
6.) Create informative weekly TipZine newsletters
7.) Learn and apply our Tricks of the Trade for Site Promotion

Can I promote my own personal site?

Yes. In the guru bio section of your site, you may promote your own sites.
Restrictions: In general, it is not appropriate for you to list a link to your site in any other area of the site other than this Bio area. More specifically, you should not promote your site or sites in your newsletters, tips, or link recommendation section of your site.

How does Lifetips promote Gurus?
|
Approved gurus will also be promoted on each newsletter sent out to the general Lifetips newsletter. We also feature sections that promote just the New Sites that launch weekly.
Channel site areas also promote similar topic sites. And our marketing department sends Press releases to targeted media promoting sites in our network.

Do these promotions cost the Guru?
|
No. All of our promotional opportunities are free to you.

Can I tell my guru friends about this? Is there a referral fee?
|
Yes and No! Feel free to spread the word; we are looking for qualified gurus for lots of sites. All are welcome, but it is first-come, first-serve in each site area. To refer a guru, have the person apply at Become A Guru.

I reside in a foreign country, is that a problem?
|
No. We pay international gurus with Pay Pal. You'll need a major credit card to accept Pay Pal payments, however.
